How will Artificial Intelligence transform the insurance industry?

Technology based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been helping transform a diverse set of industries, with large conglomerates like Apple, Google, Samsung, Fidelity, RBS, and IBM having already shown interest in it. Life in the fastlane: an Android dev's take on the popular open source package

Included was a set of developer tools called fastlane, created through an open source project, which were already being used by thousands of development teams to automate both the building and the release of iPhone and Android apps.

How I Stay Sharp

Working as a UI/UX designer 9-5, five days a week, you might assume I would have ample time in which to practice my craft. I've found, though, that all this does is keep me steady and complacent; I'm not developing my skills so much as repeating that which I can already do. A project comes in, and in a short stretch of time, it needs to be designed and sent out for build. Because of this, I have little time in my working week to learn, get truly creative and improve my personal skill set.

Custom stackView: an easy way to lay out components

With the recent introduction of a wide range of new components to iOS, UIStackView caught my eye. After building a few test apps and deliberating at length with colleagues I realised a core concept I had assumed to be in place was missing - the ability to set specific widths to any 'Sub views' placed within a single UIStackView.
